I had a Kwikset deadbolt on my previous house but purchased the Lockstate when I moved a couple months ago. I liked the looks of this one a little better and it was less expensive. I was pleased to see that this has a metal case on the interior part of the lock. The Kwikset has a plastic interior and as a result a fairly cheap feel to it. Installation was very easy... took about 15 minutes and programming codes was straight forward. So far, so good. Very happy with my purchase.
