I bought some of these several months ago; my french door just would not align properly; must of have been from poor install from the original house. Door was always sticking to the threshold, wouldn't close properly, impossible to open, etc. I even removed & re-installed the whole frame; that helped for a while. So I finally found these things on a web search. Sure glad I did! Easy to install/replace the existing hinges. Easy to adjust; both height & tilt, and finally able to use my door on a daily basis! As a response from the other review; if the hinges are exposed to the exterior of the home; then so were the original hinges that could have been taken apart!
