I bought 7 of these for my office. The re-keying is great because when I leave town for a few days, I can re-key my office to allow someone to get in with their own key or another key without having to give them my key. Then when I get back, I just re-key it back to my key. The re-keying takes less than 10 seconds! Just stick in your key and turn it, push in the little re-key tool, remove your key and then put in the key you want it to work with and turn it. That's it. You can do this for cleaning person or whatever else reason you want to give someone a temporary key. Keying/re-keying the locks in my office was a snap--easy to put any number of locks on the same key. If an employee leaves who had access and you want to re-key his office or a few offices, it's so easy. You get the idea. Kudos to the inventor!
