I bought this set because this is what was on display at a big box store but they didn't keep it in stock and going through Amazon got it too me much quicker and saved me about $20.
My initial thoughts once I received it were great. The set is very heavy and seemed to be well built. It took me about 30 min to remove the old door hardware and install the Kwikset hardware. Everything was going smooth until it came time to install the deadbolt portion of the set. I question the quality or better yet the quality control of the product because one of the two holes that accept the bolts/screws for the backside of the deadbolt was off by about 15*. I tried to get the deadbolt to line up a couple of times and ended up stripping out the bolt. This was frustrating because although the deadbolt was secure with one bolt in place, I didn't expect an issue like this with a higher-end set.
I called the Kwikset customer service and the guy I spoke with was very nice and said he would send me another lock with bolts that lined up and 2 new keys. He was so nice it was hard to get angry or frustrated on the phone with the guy. It's been a little over a week and I still haven't received the new lock but hopefully I'll have it in the coming days...
